6. Motorola pays reseller their appropriate rebate directly via bank transfer

7. Motorola recycles traded in units

REBATES / PE’S

• Purchases must be at standard pricing (Non-PE or Non-Deal Reg) through a Value Added Distributor only

• Purchases that include TIP are classed as standard pricing and therefore part of the Trade-In Program

• Rebates have been carefully calculated based on street pricing expectations and are positioned to help you WIN deals

• PE applications might be reviewed in light of these Offers

• Rebates paid DIRECTLY into the reseller account in either USD, EUR or GBP


WHAT CAN BE TRADED IN

• Any make or model as long as it fits the Trade-In Offer criteria:

• MC55A0/MC75A0: A mobile computing type device with a diagonal screen size between 3” and 4” (7.6 to 10.2cm)

• MC9190: A mobile computing type device with a gun shaped form factor and a diagonal screen size which is equal to or greater than 3.5” (8.89cm)

• Industrial Scanning: Any industrial scanner that is either predominately red or yellow in colour

• AP’s: Any wireless access point that is IEEE802.11x certified• For example: Symbol AP5131, AP300; Cisco 350, 1000, 1100, 1200; Aruba AP-92, AP105; Meru AP3000


WHAT IF THE UNIT IS DAMAGED?

• The condition of the unit depends per Trade-In Offer criteria. • We will not be turning the units on and the unit can/will have wear and tear

• MC55A0/MC75A0• We will be checking to see if the screen is cracked or smashed. If it is then we will pay

$90 per unit + $5 postage

• MC9190• We will be checking to see if the screen is cracked or smashed. If it is then we will pay

$250 per unit + $25 postage

• Industrial Scanning• We will not be checking for damage. Full rebate paid if item meets conditions of offer.

• Access Points• We will not be checking for damage. Full rebate paid if item meets conditions of offer.


RETURNING UNITS

• Units still have to be returned to the specified address in Brno, CZ (local service pickup not applicable)

• Units must be returned and received within 120 days of the new unit purchase date

• We are working on alternatives for some custom restricted countries


SERVICE CONTRACT TRADE IN PROCESSOffering Motorola Service on all new products • Motorola Service is a great differentiator on our new products and gives your customers peace of mind

• We recommend you attach Service from the Start with Comprehensive Coverage on all Trade-In sales to ensure you are maximising your customers investment and differentiating your offering to the maximum


SERVICE CONTRACT TRADE IN PROCESS

What if my customer has Motorola Service left on the Trade-In device?• If the unit you are trading in has an existing live Motorola service contract and you take out a service contract on the new device then you will receive a credit for any remaining period of the existing live Motorola service contract

• For example. Trade-In an MC9090 with six months service contract remaining. Buy a new MC9190 with a new 3 year service contract you will receive a credit for the six months left on the MC9090

• You will need to provide the contracts team with the contract number of the original product and request a ‘Trade-In’ services credit when ordering. Contact [email protected] for more information or set up the service

• You will NOT be credited for remaining service on a Trade-In product unless a new service contract is taken out at the time of purchasing the replacement product.
