Internal Evaluation for Smart India Hackathon was conducted by all the faculties of IT department to guide the students participanting for SIH 2020.“SIH 2020 Idea presentation" was organized by IT department on 10th January, 2020. Mr. Shubham Thakur (CEO TA Technologies & entrepreneur)

was invited as a resoure person .Total 8 teams from IT department have presented their ideas as a solution to the problems being specied in Smart India Hackathon 2020. Teams were formed with SE, TE interdepartmental pairs. As a result of this activity 3 teams from IT department were slected at college level under Software Category.

“Design Thinking Workshop"

Design Thinking Workshop was successfully conducted by PCCOE IEEE Student Branch and ITSA for students on Friday 7/02/2020 for students of Comp/ENTC/Mech/IT. Kranti Athalye (Sr. Manager , University Relations IBM) and Sheetal Atha (IBM Subject Matter Expert & Agile Consultant) were invited as the guest Speakers who have elaborated various design thinking activities like Empathy Map, Story Map, Prioritization etc. Total 105 students (NMIET, PCCOER & PCCOE) participated in this workshop and they got exposure for different problem solving techniques and converting their ideas into solution.This event was coordinated by Prof. Ashwini Ladekar and Prof. Meera Thorat.
