Once again it was a successful day with a culmination of major efforts from parents, students and staff. The Funky Fishing Festival is part of our school charter and will remain to be a crucial part of our school curriculum. Many came and supported the event - families, neighbours and friends, it was a great turn out for sure! The generosity of the community was amazing! We had great sponsors for ALL of the draws. Our focus this year with the profit is to improve the grounds for your child to use and play in. Last year we raised enough to develop the outdoor classroom, playground soft fall, new slide component, sandpit surround, and new outdoor carpet for Kid Space. This year the BOT is committed to consulting with all stakeholders around priority projects. A massive thank you to the Jagger family for allowing us onto their beautiful farm. It was great to meet with Eric and Murray Jagger on the day.

Funky Fishing Festival
Congratulations to everybody who participated, succeeded and helped with the Funky
Fishing Festival and all of the work prior to it. Once again it was a successful day with a
culmination of major efforts from parents, students and staff. The Funky Fishing Festival is
part of our school charter and will remain to be a crucial part of our school curriculum.
Many came and supported the
event - families, neighbours and
friends, it was a great turn out
for sure! The generosity of the
community was amazing! We
had great sponsors for ALL of
the draws.
Our focus this year with the
profit is to improve the grounds
for your child to use and play in.
Last year we raised enough to
develop the outdoor classroom,
playground soft fall, new slide
component, sandpit surround,
and new outdoor carpet for Kid
Space.
This year the BOT is committed
to consulting with all
stakeholders around priority
projects.
A massive thank you to the
Jagger family for allowing us
onto their beautiful farm. It
was great to meet with Eric and
Murray Jagger on the day.
To Greg and his amazing team, your time, dedication, blood sweat and tears will be duly
noted for years to come. Every aspect of the day was a major success; I was blown away
with the attention to detail, quality of food, beautiful music and entertainment for all
ages. The committee will be sending out thank you letters to all helpers and Gold, Silver
and Bronze sponsors over the next few weeks.
Jagger’s Camp
Last week the seniors went on a great overnight camp to Jagger’s Farm. I managed to
visit for the day and participate in a fun packed adventure. Thank you to Adam Willet
our local Bream Head Ranger for spending the morning with our seniors and sharing his
passion for localized conservation.
