Page 1 From the Director's Desk Dear Brothers and Sisters: Assalamu-alaikumwa-rahmatullah Alhamdulillah, the most important news of this month is that our program is going on in these days in Al-Masjid Al-Haram; in one of the teaching halls in the basement of the Masjid. A team of teachers, especially the volunteers from Jeddah are teaching the courses in Urdu, Bangla, Tamil, Malayalam, and English. The first program was conducted by Br AbdulRaheem Nayeemuddin, who was performing Hajj this year. May Allah reward all of those who helped us in arranging the program, collecting the people, preparing the materials, and most importantly in delivering the program. Based on the feedback that we are getting, the audience is indeed excited to know this method and inshaAllah they will continue learning further based on the materials provided and through the related institutions in their countries or through our website. Alhamdulillah, the most important news of this month is that our program is going on in these days in Al-Masjid Al-Haram; in one of the teaching halls in the basement of the Masjid. A team of teachers, especially the volunteers from Jeddah are teaching the courses in Urdu, Bangla, Tamil, Malayalam, and English. The first program was conducted by Br AbdulRaheem Nayeemuddin, who was performing Hajj this year. May Allah reward all of those who helped us in arranging the program, collecting the people, preparing the materials, and most importantly in delivering the program.

This month we have got 6 new schools in Hyderabad. Some schools insist that we pay salary for the teacher. For new schools, we do provide our teacher (and therefore we pay the salary) but want them to take over in a couple of months. We can’t continue supporting them for all times. We would have done that, had we had more resources! We ask Allah to bless us with more resources. Following is the number of schools in different states/cities and countries. Within brackets, cities are shown:
Fourteen Madaris have already adopted UQA Course. No new Madarsa is added this month. Further efforts are being made to introduce our course in other Masajid/Madaris.
We request you to introduce our course in Madaaris that you are familiar with. It will inshaAllah make their start of Arabic learning very easy, smooth, and interesting.
3. UQA syllabus in 13 Study Circles:
Qur’an Study Circles are informal small groups. Most of these are sisters gathering together on weekly basis to study UQA Courses. By this program, UQA has been able to reach out to 100’s of Muslim homes with the message of Holy Qur’an in past few years. Alhamdulillah, the participants are excited to learn Arabic with this new style. Below is the list of those that we are following up with them.

Maharashtra: 2 (Pune:1, Yewatmal:1)
There are many others which we could not follow up. Now Br Qurram ([email protected]) is offering his help to organize the study circles and update them with the guidelines etc. Please do write and email to him if you are conducting a study circle or attending it.
4. Teachers’ Training Courses (TTC) – Trained 1524 teachers so far:
In September we conducted 1 TTC Program Alhamdulillah as detailed below: - TTC 37th Batch held at UQA Hqrs. Hyderabad. 14 Teachers are trained. - The demand for TTC is so huge that the Year-2015 is almost booked.

UQA Indian Portal Mobile App beta testing, bug resolving and published on Google's Play Store.
Implementation of Newsletter at Indian Portal for the subscribed members.

Support and Maintenance of Indian Portal.
Working on Security Counter measures of Indian Portal to resist hacking attacks.
7. Update on Qur’an Campus and Dream-39 Project:
The work on Qur’an Campus is progressing Alhamdulillah. In view of urgent requirements, additional
members from UQA are working on executing the project. Construction activity is in full swing,
Alhamdulillah. Block B is near completion and the Elevation work of Block A is ongoing.
The UQA team has decided to start with the following courses as soon as the building is ready: 1. Teachers’ Training Course 10-days course 2. Understand Qur’an & Salah – Course 1 (50% of the words of the Qur’an) – 3 days course 3. Understand Qur’an & Du’aas – Course 2 (70% of the words of the Qur’an)– 3 days course 4. Read Al-Qur’an – 5 days course 5. Learn Tajweed – the Easy Way – 3 days course
For Dream-39 course, we pray to Allah to bless us with the resources so that we can construct the
following:
An auditorium that can accommodate 300 to 400 people (50% gentlemen and 50% ladies)
A hostel for men
A hostel for women
A kitchen and dining facility with separate dining halls for men and women.
