As part of their work learning about fairtrade, our Year 4 class organised a fun day for each of the classes to take part in to raise awareness. The children organised a range of games and activities, which were well received by the rest of the school. The fair trade cake stall and the tasting activities involving different chocolate buttons were particularly popular. Class 4 raised around £240, which will be spent on purchasing suitable fair trade products for use/sale in school. Thank you class 4 for organising this great day for us all. The year 5 team won their match 8-‐‑2 and the year 6 team lost 2-‐‑1. Both teams played well and they were a tribute to the school and their parents/coaches. Men of the match who deserved particular mention were: Owen Kucharski Y6, Morgan Burrow Y6 and Ben Hough Y5. TODDLER GROUP We are hoping to start a Toddler group in school on Friday mornings during the Summer term. If any parents are getting rid of the following equipment at home, we would be grateful for any donations of clean items to supplement our school resources:
• Changing table • Baby gym • Bouncy chair/Bumbo baby seat • Baby toys in good condition
All donations need to be handed in to the school office or Mrs Kelly in the Nursery.
