P7 Dalguise Trip

The P7s enjoyed a very chilly week with P7s from across the Inverurie Cluster in

Dalguise last week! Luckily the weather was better than in Inverurie and they

managed to take part in all the activities planned. It was great to see so many

children ‘giving it a go’! We are very proud of their achievements and their

excellent behaviour.

There will be an information evening on Thursday 12th May at 7pm for the

parents of P6 pupils in preparation for Dalguise next year.

STEM Club

STEM club will be starting again on Monday 9th May at 3.30pm. Pupils who have a

place this term will get a note home today.

Assembly

Well done to P3/4 who shared their learning with us at assembly today. The

theme of the assembly was ‘Give it a Go’ and the children demonstrated their many talents for us.

Cash for Kids - Pupil Council

The school and nursery will be taking part in raising money for Cash for Kids on Friday 13th May. Dress up as a superhero for the day and please bring a donation

for Cash for Kids. Thank you, Pupil Council.

Kellands Kids Crafty Café

The school hall was buzzing this week as P1G, P1M and P1/2O hosted their Kellands

Kids Crafty Café. After weeks of planning, baking, singing and creating pieces of

art for this enterprise project the pupils really did themselves proud by raising

over £650. The staff and pupils would like to thank all those who came as well as

those who donated baking and raffle prizes. Yet another huge Kellands success!

Barnardo’s Boxes

If you have a Barnardo’s box at home, please could you hand it in before the 6th of

June, so they can be counted.

A number of the items showing on the Vegetarian list in the current menu leaflets provided to pupils and parents/carers are incorrect.
