A Taste of Macintyre Last Friday evening at the annual Taste of Macintyre community gathering, our school was proudly represented by Miss Pettit's Drumming Group, Miss Boland's Dance Troupe and sixty-four students from our combined Primary Choir, with Mrs Hare and Mrs Aitken. In front of a capacity audience our students performed with great confidence, showing a high level of creative talent. The guests were well entertained by each of our groups and IPS was acknowledged with high praise. A big thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and carers who were able to bring their children, so very nicely presented, to this after school event. ANZAC March ANZAC Day is Tuesday 25 th of April which is at the beginning of Term 2. Our school will be participating in the Inverell Street March at 10.15am and the Commemorative Service held at the Inverell Memorial Pool at 11am. Students K-6 are invited to participate in the parade and will be accompanied by school staff during the March and Service. The students will need to assemble outside the Inverell Art Gallery in Evans Street at 9:45am. Students will need to be in full summer uniform including black shoes and red sun safe hat. Please bring a bottle of water. Your child can be collected from the front of the pool at the conclusion of the service. We appreciate your ongoing support of our school at the Anzac Day Service.
