Newsletter February 2020 Dear Parents and Guardians, WOW! It’s been a fun filled month, especially this past week. We celebrated Catholic Schools Week by showing off how Holy Redeemer embodies the theme of Learn, Serve, Lead, Succeed. We kicked off our week by sharing in the sacred mass with our parish community. Our students lead the Sunday mass, and our children’s choir performed the music. Thank you to Mrs. Murphy, the Liturgy Club, Mrs. Balducci and Mrs. Crawford, and the Children’s Choir! Throughout the week, we recognized the many members of Holy Redeemer that make our school and parish amaz- ing. We celebrated our school by hosting 2 well-attended and busy open houses. Our students were recognized for their hard work with a variety of treats and activities. We celebrated our parish with mass and a reception for our ministries. We recognized our parents by sharing in coffee and pastries during morning drop off. We celebrated our teachers for giving of their gifts and talents to help students grow spiritually and academically. It was a very special week that culminated in our Awards Assembly. I would like to wish a special thank you to Mrs. Alaimo and her team for making this a memorable week. We look forward to a busy second semester! Blessings, Mrs. Katrina Fernandez Principal

St. Ann’s Donations During Catholic Schools Week, we celebrated our community by organizing a school-wide St. Ann’s charity donation. This year, St. Ann’s Children, Youth and Families Center re-ceived a large donation from our Holy Redeemer School families and staff! Our com-
munity was very generous in donating diapers, wipes, formula, and hygiene products for the many babies and children in need at the Center.
