Please consider volunteering—volunteers are always needed! Volunteers are the backbone of all not for profit groups. Without them, many things would not be accomplished. Come share your skills whatever they maybe… Cooking, sewing, arts & crafts, music, medical skills, handyman, teacher, we need you, young or old! Come for a week, two weeks or a month or more. Whatever amount of time you can give will have a positive impact. Our volunteer program is inexpensive and the proceeds go towards your stay here and the remainder goes directly to the Children’s Home, not to a 3rd party broker. The personal rewards you will gain will be immeasurable.!

V O L U N T E E R O F T H E M O N T H !

Namaskar! My name is Sanne (26)

and I'm from the Netherlands. This

month was truly a great experience. I never worked with children so

closely. But it turned out that I am still

a big child too, and I love it. I really

got attached to the Didi's and the

children. For me the most important duty was being there for them. The

younger ones, but also the students.

Playing with them, help them with

their homework, cleaning, cooking

(which I love to do) and just be with them, have small chats and fun. In

the end I think I succeeded more in

being a sister than a teacher. I am so

proud of all the boys and girls. They

are working very hard and I didn't hear anyone complaining. Going to

school, clean, cook, take care of

each other, take care of themselves,

no privacy, no belonging and still

motivated to work hard for their degrees. Wow, unbelievable!

Narayan Seva is a warm family, I felt

at home and I wish I could stay

longer. Without any doubt I come

back.!

We have become a disposable society; please help us change this legacy, as children are our most precious resource and our future, wherever they may be. !Why sponsor one of our children? !Because 100% of your donation goes to the care of the child, not towards administration fees. $45 US dollars a month provides life-changing assistance to a child in need. It gives the child access to nutritious food, clean water, medical care, better living conditions and education. Or you may make a one-time payment of $540 US annually. You will receive yearly updates on your sponsored child. Foster parents are always welcome and encouraged to come for a visit and see first hand the impact that your donation is making. !Or if you wish, feel free to make a one-time donation in the amount of your choice, as no amount is too small. !To date we still have 44 children that are in need of sponsors. Most of them are girls who are already at a greater disadvantage in this part of the world.! Contributions may be made out to:!
