What is a pledge? How should a modern knight

behave? Who do you think can be a knight?Do you

think knights could exist nowadays? What attitudes

do you think a knight can have today?

These were some of the questions children had to ans-

wer in a questionaire which was presented to them .

From the answers pledges and honour codes were to be

made from all schools.

In Poland the pledges were presented and the schools

filmed the children taking the pledge, promising to be

good and faithful, to be honoust and fair to eachother

and listen to their teachers and parents.

Every school made their own pledge and choldren

went to work to make the rules for the honourcodes.

These will be presented later in the project.

Official project song We are Knights of Europe, we are brave We can stand together hand in hand

We are going to change our world Even if we don't use any sword

We all are the same under the Europe sky Knights of the nations as a team we can fly We all are the same together in our home Let's be U-Knighted today let's never be alone

Our shields are made of real love Our hearts are full of lovely words

We are gentle and honest and brave That is how we do want to behave

We all are the same under the Europe sky Knights of the nations as a team we can fly We all are the same together in our home Let's be U-Knighted today let's never be alone

Christmas wishes

Every school sent in two to four

verse sentences for the project

song.

The Music teacher from the

Polish school put all these sen-

tences together in a beautiful

project song called ‘Knights of

Europe’

The song will be learnt by all

children from the schools parti-

cipating in the project.

Christmas wishes and cards poored in

at every school during December.

Schools displayed them in their

Comenius corners during December

and January.

Some countries posted films of their

traditional celebrations on the blog.
