CURRICULUM DAY—TERM 3 I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the enre Woodlands community for their ongoing support, parcularly throughout Term 2. It has been an extremely challenging but rewarding term for all of us. I’ve oſten said that it is in the hard mes that Woodlands is at its best and this term has been another example of that. Our parents have been extremely supporve of staff and students, even though many are going through tough mes themselves. We acknowledge the great work you did during remote learning with your children and appreciate the trust you had in the school as we transioned back to onsite learning. Our teachers and support staff are amazing! They completely redesigned the way we deliver curriculum to our students in a maer of weeks and managed to engage all 910 students in their learning through a computer screen. As a community, we can’t thank them enough for the care, compassion and professionalism they showed throughout the term. They all deserve a very well earnt holiday! I’ve always been very proud of our students, but this pride has now gone to another level. The amount of growth our children have shown over the course of Term 2 is phenomenal. Not only did they work hard on maintaining their academic progress, but the development of their independence, resilience and compassion for others is their greatest achievement. I just hope as things start going back to normal that us adults connue to let them develop these skills, and the gains our students have made in these areas isn’t lost. Have a great holiday, stay safe and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again in Term 3. Ma Gallagher Principal
