T he new season is upon us! The Rangers have been busy preparing for the 2019 season at Spring Training in Arizona and are finally back home at
Globe Life Park. This year’s team features several new faces, starting with new manager, Chris Woodward.
Woodward comes to Texas after spending the last three seasons as the third base coach with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In addition to our new head coach, be on the lookout for other new faces including Arlington native Hunter Pence, World Series Champion Lance
Lynn and eleven-year MLB veteran Asdrúbal Cabrera, among others.
The Rangers are also happy to have back players like veteran Elvis Andrus, slugger Joey Gallo, and young stars Nomar Mazara and Rougned Odor.
In case you missed it, this offseason, first baseman Ronald Guzmán adopted a condor and outfielder Gallo adopted a kangaroo!
We are looking forward to an exciting season and are so happy that you will be a part of it.

New this year is a Jr. Rangers exclusive Catch on the Field opportunity. This is your chance to play catch on a Major League Baseball f ield! Each Jr. Ranger wi l l be al lowed an adult guest and you must R SV P
to [email protected]. A ticket is not required for the day’s game. Don’t forget to bring your passport and glove! Baseballs will be provided. *Experience will be rescheduled if weather affects field conditions.
On Sunday, May 5, Jr. Rangers Club members will have the opportunity to take pictures with Rangers Captain and the Golden Chick Dots at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Members and their families should enter the stadium through the Southwest Airlines First Base Gate with their Jr. Rangers Club VIP Membership pass and game
tickets.* The photo opportunity is from 12:30 to 1 PM, so make sure you arrive early to be a part of the fun! After you get your picture taken with your favorite mascot, you can head to the seats to watch batting practice. Fans 13 & under who attend this game can also participate in Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday.

The Kid’s Zone is located just beyond Vandergriff Plaza at the Center Field Gate. This space is equipped with every
child’s dream interactive playground, Captain’s Corral, a larger-than-life MLB bat slide and Sony PlayStation gaming systems! Fans can also receive Rangers Captain’s autograph in the Kid’s Zone during the 5th inning. As always, make sure you have your Jr. Rangers VIP badge for free entrance!
