It was with a disappointment I reached abhaya
with reference of Srinivasa Rao as 10 Days
back. I am not very much confident about my
journey as I didn't get the sponsorship
required. When I met abhaya I got confidence
that I could achieve my dream. Before I used
to think what next after the summit, but after
today's event I got vison that I can bring some
positive change in the society.
My mother was overwhelmed with the Press
Meet at Country Club Hyd and response I
received today. My friends are really happy for
me. For me personally...It was amazing
experience and first time speaking to almost
every media friend and I felt extremely happy
the way abhaya introduced me to the
gathering.
I heartily thank each and every sponsor:
Mythri Movie Makers, Oxygem, Sriram Properties, GVPR Group, Omini Hospitals and everyone who supported me. All your wishes
and blessings alone helps me to complete my journey successfully. While offering tributes to Late Masthanaiah and prayers to God
Almighty... I am proceeding to Khatmandu tomorrow. Seek your blessings as they alone will now lead my way. I know how abhaya

First cycle chemo therapy completed Now we are at Vivekananda Yoga University, Jigani,
Bengaluru for getting her physical strength we came here. Here Subramanyam PRO Chancellor of
University suggested that go for Ayurveda. Till now, little support i received from my friends. She
was in Hospital for 34 days and she was discharged on April 10th. Total bill was Rs. 685000/- , but I
had only Rs. 300000/- from my friends and well wishers. Remaining amount I took a loan. Actually
I am only single person to attend to all things. That is why I am unable to go with guidelines
provided by abhaya. On 26th day she got fits and fear about life. Since then I am with her taking
care of her for every minute. Some patients told that the BMT cost will be up to Rs.50 lakhs as per
their experience. There was no one to stand by our side... Normally if there is no complication the
cost may be around 25 lakhs. If any complications occur, then the cost goes up. Actually doctor
informed us that each cycle of chemo therapy cost is one lakh. But on first cycle they charged Rs.
685000/-. I have one friend in Anantapur, who supported me and followed up till now. I will
connect him to abhaya, if possible please tell him all the things. - Visweswara Reddy, Teacher,

Mission Teena:Wanted to share the status of Teena and her health condition. As
you are aware that Teena has to go for follow up check ups and
treatment for a period of 2 years now. So, her parents visited the
cancer hospital in Gujarat for monthly checkup with all the medical
reports / files given by NTR Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad, whereas
the Doctors of there, told them that they will not be able to take
decision based on old reports and advised them to go for fresh
checkups like biopsy etc again which is a burden to the girl as well as
her parents. So her parents finally decided to bring her to
Hyderabad and they came to Hyderabad 10 days back and reports
gave result that the platelet count is 26000 which is very low. Doctor
had asked them visit this week by prescribing some medicines. So
they are in Hyderabad for the checkup. I want to thank the Founder
of abhaya Foundation, personally for asking them to stay at his
home whenever they come for monthly checkup. That gave them a
huge boost and they are very happy that someone is always there to
always help them. Thanks a lot on behalf of Teena's parents.

Govindarajan (B.Tech)I had completed my project review successfully on 9/04/15
and my semester exam will start at 22-April. Due to Project
I couldn't concentrate on other things. I haven't
participated in any social activity in last month because of
project review. I had deposited Rs.500/- for Abhaya
Mission 500 for the month of March. With the support of
Abhaya finally I get placed in Virtusa an IT company. After
my exams completion, I planned to work in any B.P.O. till I
join Virtusa. I intend to prepare well on my semester
exams and complete my Project with highest grade.
I'm practicing English in-front of Mirror. I'm reading GRE
vocabularies and try to use those words in practice and also
knowing some business words. With the motivation and
guidance by Abhaya I got placed in Virtusa in Off-campus interview competed with
680 students. And I'm planning to host a Social Networking site which must be
useful for youth. I got call letter for Navy SSB interview . Its been scheduled at May
2nd. It was 5 day interview from 2-6 and I have one of my semester exam onMay-
5. I don't know what to do now. I attached my Navy call letter along with this mail.
Need your guidance. All these had happened only coz of Abhaya. It transformed
me from nowhere to somewhere. I'll prove myself and make Abhaya feel proud for
everything it done to me.

time I have to pay
my remaining fee.
My total fee for
B.Ed course is
19,900. I paid
6,400 with your
kind help. The
amount which you
gave in last month
were spent on my micro teaching course for 2
months. Now I have to pay 13,500 as the State
Government's Fee reimbursement is not yet
release and 2,000 for exam fee. If I get
scholarship, I will give it back to foundation. I
am facing lot of issues as my parents' health is
not fine. I thank abhaya for standing beside
me in this situation.
Sireesha (Agri B.Sc)I am Sireesha Ponneri D/o Jagannadaih from Chittoor Dist. Sir, I am doing my B.Sc
Agriculture course here at Hyderabad and need to pay my Fee. I called you for my education
support. I got some help from Helping Hands and got you help for remaining amount. I thank
you heartfully for responding to my Request. No one responded to me in such a short period. I
have consulted many people but they did not give any response. You have taken your time to
guide me in the right path and complete my education successfully. I am feeling so happy
because ABHAYA is with me now for my Education.
Sailatha (M.B.B.S)On 8th march I unexpectedly participated in
the holy event of scholarship distribution to
the students by Meda charitable trust. Where
our beloved founder was the speaker to that
celestial moment. I have noted some new
points from his oration which are so
impressive and uplifting the thoughts of every
student. About 5 'P's (Planning, Preparation,
Practice, Performance, Presentation) which
are very essential for every student in order to
excel in the exams. He made some thought
provoking phrases by taking the five trustee
names of that charitable trust. Thus he dragged attention of every
one. Really I felt so much blessed and privileged to be with founder.
The unconditional love and support from founder was astounding.
One more session I attended on 20th at rudest institute which is a
vocational training centre. He highlighted 5 'A's (Answering,
Accessibility, Approach, Awareness, Adjusting) which are very
essential for the people who are getting trained over there. The
spontaneous stories regarding importance of service to life were
incredible. Thus everything he told was comprehensive.
Coming to my exams, they got completed on 20th. But I did not
perform well to the expected level. I was so much depressed with my
performance .I realized the mistakes that I have done. I assure that
I will not repeat those blunders and also I will try to not let any new
mistakes in my next exams.
After exams again routine time table continued & I have been posted
to Gynaec & OBS .This time not only going for OP's, wards etc., for
the first time went to labor ward. It was an awesome experience.
The environment in the room will be horrible. Different complicated
cases we will be coming across like, labor in a critical situations like
oligohydroamnios, pregnancy induced hypertension cases, twins.
Where in these situations delivery is little bit difficult. Lots of
hemorrhage will be there, where one needs so much courage even
to see all these. However hats off to all Mothers. It is really a
fantastic unexpressible experience. Apart from these I have
attended weekly medical camps, balavikas classes and started
taking care of sister in her studies.
Leelavathi (M.Sc)I am S Leelavathi from Anantapur. My
family and I are doing fine with blessings
of Swamy. I hope all abayans and well-
wishers are fine. About my studies, I had
completed 4th semester syllabus and
wrote 1st internal exam in nice way with
good representation. 2nd internals will
start from tomorrow onwards and my final
practical examination will start from 16th
of this month. That's why I am spending
my time for record work and also revision
of experiments in labs with help of
research scholars and they are clarifying my doubts. My final exam
will start from 29th of this month and ends by 4th May
I am preparing my subject in CSIR pattern and this is very valuable
time for me. That's why am using all the available facilities like S
VCentral and Department libraries and hostel library for my
preparation. When I have doubts, clarifying those with my
professors. Yesterday LNG chemical sciences coaching center
came to S V University and they are conducting one exam in CSIR
Model. The top 3 rank students in this exam will get a free coaching
with accommodation. I am attending this exam and results will be
intimated through email.
Chemistry plays an important role in day to day life. There are
chemical reaction in the way you breathe, the food you eat, the
water you drink in every motion which is taking place around. Our
entire universe is made up of matter which is constantly changing
and evolving into other forms of energy. Biology, Physics and
Mathematics also depends upon Chemistry. In our kitchen onions
make us cry due to the presence of Sulphur in the cells which break
after the onions are cut, this Sulphur gets mixed with moisture and
thus irritate eyes. You feel hungry because of the satiety center in
your brain falls short of particular hormones to function and then
send the signal of hunger. All these I learned out of interest on my
subject. We celebrated Ugadi at Puttaparthy very happily and took
Swamy blessings and met Balacahandra uncle. I felt very happy
and thanking abhaya for giving such wonderful opportunity to
share my feelings.
Nagaraju (B.Tech)
Update:
Sri.Ramalingeswararao of Walkers Club, Baghlingampally, Hyderabad, has referred
Nagaraju seeking support for his education from abhaya. Nagaraju, aged 19 years, has
just got admission in II year B.Tech, IT Branch, in Vasavi Engg. College, Hyderabad. Since
he has done Diploma and secured 71% in ECET, he got admission in II year directly. He
belongs to BC-D and is a BPL candidate. His father who was selling fruits in his village
Kusnoor-Zaheerabad, died in 2003, and he has 2 sisters, elder one got married and the
younger one studying 10th class, living with his mother in their village. He lives with his
uncle in Addagutta, Hyderabad, who has been providing him food, clothing etc.,
After his father's death, his mother is working as a agriculture laborer and earning around
Rs 4000-5000 a month, with which both she and her daughter are maintaining livelihood.
They have an acre of land, which is pledged with SBH for her daughter's marriage and it
seems the Bank is likely to waive the same in the recent Govt's scheme of waiver to poor
people. This needs to be done still.
He also works as a volunteer, as and when conducted, in the Medical Camps conducted by
Sri Satya Sai Organisation and assisting the Doctors in such camps. He has passed 'C'
certificate exam in NCC. Now the annual fee comes to Rs. 1,18,000/- and Rs. 35,000/- is
compensated by the Govt under BPL student category. Balance Rs.83,000/- is needed.
I advised him to contact his village revenue officials with his elders and plead for financial
help from the local MLA quota. He can also meet the Principal of Vasavi College with the
help of our abhaya student volunteers in that college (if any) for seeking further
reduction in fees. I also suggested him to try to earn some amount by doing some part
time job.
After talking to him, I feel his case seems to be genuine, referred by a known person like
Ramalingeswararao, and we may think of extending financial help, subject to the
foundation getting satisfied about his case. – EJP Prasad, Coordinator, abhaya RPL
I Spoke to him and he seems genuine. His aim is to get into defense forces with his NCC
credentials. For that he should have continuous education without any GAP, so he is
planning to join this course, as this will also help him to get an IT job if he dont get his
dream. He tried for B.Sc in NIZAM college and could not get a seat as the BAR is high (94-
96% is the cut off for OBC and he got 71%). If he get a part time job, the need will come
down to 70K. I feel, if someone can stand by him, we can also support half the amount.
Discussed the same with Ramalingeswararao garu and he told that he will look for other
supporters as well. – Siva Krishna, Secretary, abhaya Foundation

We believe in Manava Seva as Madhava Seva. All our family members in India &
Abroad always think that what we all can do for those in need. My wife KNS
Krishnaveni is instrumental in starting the Vocational Training centers at Satya Sai
Seva Kendram, Bowenpally, trained many needy women as part of Sai Village
Development Program with the Divine inspiration of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Recently we and moved into our newly purchased home which is far from Training
Center. But her hunger to reprogram the lives of many women persisted in spite of
she, moving far from the training center. She believed that if the house can be
transformed in to a training center then she can happily engage herself in training the
unemployed women in and around the locality where she is living. Accordingly she
started a small training center at home with very limited people, witnessing the trail
runs in the initial periods, we thought of setting up a abhaya Vocational Training
Center at our home, so that we will get support and guidance and can increase the
scope of the activities particularly for women in days to come. Hence kindly provide
support and guidance to create a small difference to those in need of such training to
reprogram their lives. As per the values of abhaya, the services are offered purely on
social cause and absolutely free of cost. - K Ranga Rao, Hyderabad
abhaya Free Training Center at Hyderabad to Women on Fashion Desinging and Tailering
As initiated by us during the Hunt the Winter Project in the month of December
2014, we abhayans from Boyenpally are ready to set up Solar Kitchen Facility at
Suvidha Ashram, which is part of Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust, (The
only trust started by Mahtama Gandhi) , There are about 50 MR Kids at the Ashram
who are abandoned , they are really taking care , but they have real funds crunch
and requested us to help them in setting up a Solar kitchen so that their most of the
monthly expenditure will come dwon.
As we are not getting expected subsidy or support for our planned Solar
Lighting/Cooking facilities at Suvidha Ashram from the Govt, we would like to go
ahead with the project without further waiting and conveyed the message to the Co-
ordinator of Suvidha Ashram Kasi V Rao . He suggested that he has come across a
vendor to set up a Solar Cooking facility as they are in the first instance keen for Solar Kitchen facility. The same is suitable and
within our budget. The Vendor has visited the site couple of day back and will be sending the quotation in the next week. Based on
the quotation we will be executing the project. We request abhaya Team to please visit our family so that the pooled funds to the
tune of Rs.1.00 Lakh can be handed over enabling abhaya to meet the immediate requirement by next week towards project. We
request abhaya to fill the gap if in case there is a shortfall in executing the project. I request kindly spare some time in the next as
there will be meeting with Vendor and Suvidha Co-ordinator.- K Ranga Rao & Brothers, Hyderabad

We were very happy to meet you at abhaya to give our
pool collected in Mission Re.1/- taking inspiration from
your talk at our hostel. Though, what we did is very
insignificant thing... you made us to feel big about our
gesture and asked us to record our feelings.
What I am thinking is not being communicated in English
with the people around me. I am unable to share my ideas
exactly with others and this shows that I cant speak to
people. The very first thing is to improve myself to
communicate with the society and to think of myself before thinking of the society... for doing
more good. This is the feeling of all of us who visited abhaya.
What I feel is..we dont realize until we ourselves experience the problems...my sister always
tells me that 'you need to improve' today i understood what to improve. A very big thanks to
you sir..as you made me to know what is going on with me. We thought we are doing a favour
to abhaya... but we realized that there is favour abhaya has done for our life. - Srikar, II

Gone through the latest News Update, March 2015. Year after year,
abhayafoundation has been making steady progress in all it's H.E.A.R.T
activities, in spite of many hardships. Besides, it has been effectively
propagating the C.S.R concept in the Corporates, in recent months. With the
beginning of a new Financial Year, starting from today, let us hope and pray
that more support would be available, more kind hearted humans join hands
with abhaya, more volunteers make sincere efforts to take forward it's
MISSION and VISION.
As we are well aware, in our present society, many are looking to NGOs, Institutions and Individuals for
BASIC NEEDS and unless the "Haves" in the Society, and the Government, work together, it will not be
possible to face this huge Social Responsibility. March ahead in that direction, and with confidence
"abhaya", you will surely succeed. GOD be with you!! – EJP Prasad, Coordinator, abhaya RPL
I am extremely sorry for unable to
make the transfer since march. I will
do it in 24 hours. I got a sponsor who
want to sponsor for a girl child. Do we
have any nice cute girl who is looking
for help? They asked a girl who is
looking for help and who educates
well. They want to sponsor for her till
she completed education and settle in
her life. Pleases respond to me as soon
as you can. Thanks -B Praveen, USA
