The last weekend in February, 2015 is sure to be a weekend to re- member, so plan to be with us! Dr. Rodger Nishioka of Columbia Seminary will be visiting with us. He is a nationally known speaker who appeals to all age groups. Our time with him will be uplift- ing, full of joy and long remembered. In short, it is an event you won’t want to miss! First Presbyterian will be conducting the worship service at Magnolia House each Sunday in January at 3:00pm. The scriptures are our sacred story. They hold meaning and significance for our lives and still we sometimes struggle with this wonderful story. In Adam Hamilton’s book, Making sense of the Bible , he invites us to join him in conversation with the greatest story ever told which sometimes perplexes, disturbs, but also inspires. Join us as we consider this amazing story and some of the questions which it has created in our lives of faith. This 6 week study will be divided into two 3 week sessions. The first 3 weeks will focus on an overview of both the Old and New Testaments and a discussion of the nature of scripture. The second 3 weeks will ad- dress questions that some have raised concerning this story. Please join us in the youth room from 4:30-5:30 beginning Sunday, January 4. Books are available in the church office. Let us join in conversation of our sa- cred story. Ruth

The scriptures are our sacred story. They hold meaning and significance for our lives and still we sometimes struggle with this wonderful story. The year 2015 will begin with a college conference trip to Montreat . We will leave on January 2nd and return the
5th. Six of our college students will be joining with college students from Faith and First Presbyterian in Tallahas-see. We are looking forward to an exciting time witnessing the community that these college students began back in high school.
School and Terrific Tuesday will resume on January 6th. Again this year, the children will go on a field trip to Gads-den Arts. On January 20th the 4K will visit Gadsden Arts.
Youth resumes on January 4th. On January 10th we will have Capture the Flag at Flora Dora and have asked the Tallahassee churches to join us. Meet at the church at 4:30 and we will go out together. We will return to the church around 9:30.
Rt. 456 will meet on Thursday, January 8th. Be on the look out for an email with the details!
Hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed 2015!

This year we will be discovering how we can seek the peace that God gives and how we can share that peace in our broken world. We will pray, worship, play, discuss, and explore peace together as we seek to be Peace
Bound! Look for photos of our awesome experience in next months newsletter.
