Initiated in 1985, the program began as a way to involve parents in the education of their children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The GWAEA PEP Program is located on the main level of the Grant Wood AEA 33rd Avenue Facility at 1120 33rd Ave S.W., in Cedar Rapids. Our Mission The mission of the PEP Program is to promote strong home-school partnerships, which assist children and youth to do well in school accomplishing IEP goals and preparing for the next steps.
