Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you to each of you as you stand with us here in
Indonesia. We are so grateful for the family of God!
In Hosea God says, “For I desire mercy not sacrifice, and
acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.” May we
show mercy and acknowledge God to those around us each day.
We continue to
serve the people
of Kalimantan and
Papua. There is
no end to the
challenges in
keeping up with
the ever-changing
regulations. We
are grateful we
still can show mercy and point people to God here in this place.
One way of showing mercy is helping with the sick. We
often evacuate people to better medical care or transport
medical workers and their supplies into the villages to minister
to the whole village.

Investing in and training our
national MAF staff is part of our
purpose as well. Arleon just returned
from the States with an FAA
avionics Repairman Certificate in
hand. This will further allow him to
work on our MAF planes and sign off
maintenance completed. What a huge
blessing and another step forward.

Supporting health workers
Helping a lady that had a stroke by get-
ting her to better medical care.
Caring, encouraging, and supporting our four
new MAF staff families as they learn the
Indonesian language and culture is a joy for us.
This is a stretching time for each family as they
adjust to living away from what is familiar and
embracing the changes and differences that
another culture brings. We’re privileged to come
alongside them during this transition. Pray that
we may truly be a blessing to them.
We are grateful for friends here in Jakarta
amidst the busyness of the city. We have known
these friends prior to coming to Jakarta as they
have graciously helped MAF with electrical
supplies from their store for many years, whether
just routine items needed or a huge order of wire
and lighting for an MAF building project. They are
always willing to help.
We really appreciate your prayers!
Many Blessings, Jonathan and Cindee
