a long standing relationship with you and your students. We appre- ciate all of the administration support as well. What a great community we have! We had approximately 50 students repre- senting 9 different schools, 6 school districts, and 14 dance studios. The ages were from 9th-12th grade, male and female, and some that traveled from Baytown and Coldspring, Texas just to attend the event. 6 professors from four Universities including University of Texas- Austin, Texas Women's University, Univer- sity of Houston, and Texas State Univer- sity lead and engaged the students from 9am-1:15pm. The classes were inspiring, fun, and thought provoking. We saw a special light in the students' eyes as they were experi- encing something new for the first time. We watched them laugh, become com- fortable with one another, and work tire- lessly for almost 4 hours. We must thank Tina Curran, David Justin, Gladys Keeton, Melissa Noble, Teresa Chapman, and Kaysie Seitz Brown for bringing such talent, enthusiasm, and spirit to this or- ganization and event. You made this an experience that the students will not forget. The students in attendance were polite, hardworking, and inspira- tional. We are so very grateful to the teachers that helped promote this event on campus/studio, encourage students to attend, and assisted with registration. Without you, this event would not be possible. We hope your pas- sion for our profession will con- tinue to spread to your students and grow this organization fur- ther. A special thank you to Stony Point for all that they did to pro- mote and prepare and graciously host the location for the event. It was so very much appreciated! Another thank you to the studio owners/companies/teachers that helped share the event through social media, at your studio/ school, and even attended the event in person.
