Newcastle High School Passion Project Selection

Newcastle High School will now be using the School Bytes sport management system to allow students to select and manage their sport and Passion Project preferences online. Steps for a student to select their Passion Project choices are as follows:

1. Go to the following web page: https://online.schoolbytes.education/sport/

2. You will then see a login page. Enter your DoE portal username & password (this is the same username/password you use to access the internet at school), then click ‘Login’.

3. The following page will appear. Select the Passion Project rotation you wish to view from the dropdown menu. Then press, ‘Go’.

4. You will then be on the selection page for the Passion Project rotation you chose. Use the provided dropdown menus to select your passion project choices, then click the ‘Save preferences’ button. The ‘Downloads’ section provides access to files uploaded by your sports/passion project organiser.

If the sport/project you wish to select is greyed out, this means that all places in this sport/project have been filled. Online payment can be made at the same time you select your preferences, by clicking the ‘Make Online Payment’ button to the right of the page. Excursion costs are not required yet.
