Newark’s largest collaborative artwork, painted by 500 Newark children in 14 schools, numer-ous community organizations and Cory Booker. The Peace Mural was used to greet the Dalai Lama and kick-off the International Peace Education Summit to the city.

Newark comes alive during the largest poetry festival in the nation - Dodge Poetry Festival (Oct 23-26). Events occur around the city and student tickets are $20/day or $50 for all 4 days.
A few weeks later, NJPAC delights again with the James Moody Democracy of Jazz Festival (Nov 9-16). Find live music in venues around town as well as jazz brunches, competitions and more.
