11 If a ball is deflected off a player and caught by a teammate, then the player who threw the
ball is out and the player who was hit by the ball has been saved by his/her teammate

People on the end line may NOT enter the boundary of the court area at any timeStalling

This requires a ball to be available to the trailing team Its illegal for the leading team to control all the balls for more than 5 seconds If the leading team controls all the balls, they must get a least one ball across the attack line
and into the opponents backcourt
If this isnt done within 5 seconds, a five second violation will be called A team may avoid a five second violation by throwing or rolling a ball into the opponents
back court
The leading team may not throw at a player who, in the officials opinion, is in the act ofsecuring a ball (in a vulnerable position)

between teams; play will continue with balls in hand
o Second violation: free throw for the opposing team A free throw is an unobstructed throw at his/her opponent(s) without risk of
