New maths teachers in Miss P’s!
• Imagine my surprise this morning when I ended up with new teachers joining my maths class…
• It all started when I was recapping the work we had done in yesterday’s lesson (we are currently learning about averages).
• Suddenly, Liam puts his hand up to ask if the class can carry out a survey and analyse the data, by finding the mean, mode, median and range…
• So I scrapped my plans for the first part of the lesson and handed the learning over to the children. They made great teachers and were able to lead the class through the investigation!
• Think I’ll be out of a job soon…
