save by simply nudging the steeringwheel at the headland or the nexttime you turn to load a bucketful ofsilage or manure. No more turning,turning and turning the wheel.

Just press the inner ringTo use the FastSteer system, first

press the rocker switch on the right-hand “C” pillar to make the systemavailable for use. Then, when you’reready to make your turn, simplypress the inner ring of the steering

wheel to engageFastSteer. A lighton the instrumentpanel indicatesthe system isengaged. Normalsteering returnsinstantly whenyou release theinner ring of thesteering wheel. For safety, theFastSteer system will only engage atspeeds below 6.2 mph.

Move the steering wheel only 10 degrees to execute a full turn.

CUSTOM HEADLAND MANAGEMENTA standard feature on Elite T6000 models, the New Holland Custom Headland

Management system memorizes and replays a series of up to 28 tasks, allowing you tomanage your headland turning routine with the press of a button. You can “record” and“play back” two separate sequences—one for exiting the row; the second for enteringthe next row—including the changes you make to the following:

• Transmission upshift/downshift• Engine speed• Engage/disengage constant RPM “cruise” control• Three-point hitch position• Electrohydraulic valve operation (if so equipped)• (NOTE: The TerraLock™ system will automatically disengage FWD and diff lock asyou turn and re-engage them when required.)

The Custom Headland Management system reduces repetition to give you a well-deserved break from the juggling act normally required for headland turns. Add thisconvenience of this system to the effortless turning provided by the FastSteer option,and you handle row after row with minimum effort.

Switches on the right-hand console are used to alert the system that you are ready to record (A) or playback (B) a sequence of actions. Then, press the “step” button to actually activate the recording or play-back. The step button is located on the multi-controller (C) on Elite six-cylinder models, and on the seat-mounted electronic draft control mouse on Elite four-cylinder models.

thought in the design and servicing ofT6000 tractors. Routine maintenanceand fueling can be completed easilyfrom ground level. Engine oil can bechecked and filled at the sameconvenient point, without raising thehood. And, the 600-hour oil changeinterval means you don’t need tohandle this task as often. If it’s timefor more thorough servicing, theentire hood glides open on a gas strutto provide you with complete engineaccess. You have unobstructed accessto everything, including the engineair filter and radiator.

used on Delta models features a 16.6-gallon-per-minute (gpm) fixed-dis-placement gear pump and a separate10.5-gpm steering pump (12.4-gpmon Delta models equipped with the16x16 transmission). Plus and Elitemodels offer a more advanced closed-center load-sensing hydraulic system

and a variable-displacement pistonpump that delivers a flow of 26.5gpm to the rear remotes, three-pointhitch and loader. A separate10.5–gpm pump provides flow forsteering and services circuit. Flowcontrol is standard equipment.Configurable detents are standard onElite models and optional on Plusmodels. For maximum in-cab control,Plus and Elite models can beequipped with two, three or fourfully programmable electro-hydraulicremotes. Automatic mode gives you thebest performance advantages bydelivering optimum traction whentraveling straight, then disengagingFWD and diff lock when you turn thesteering wheel, to give you bettermaneuverability. If forward speedexceeds 9 mph, both FWD anddifferential locks will also temporarilydisengage.

When TerraLock is engaged full-time, both FWD and differential lockremain engaged until you activate thebrakes. You also have the option ofturning TerraLock off to completelydisengage FWD and front and reardiff lock.

Four-wheel assisted brakingSelf-adjusting, self-equalizing

hydraulic wet disc brakes deliver thestopping power you need. Whenboth brake pedals are applied simul-taneously, FWD engages automatical-ly to aid in braking action for addedcontrol.
