Designed to improve traction, road-holding and agility when cornering by continuously optimising the engine torque distributed to each front wheel to match the amount of grip each wheel has available. The result is a more rewarding driving experience. ØUses sensors.

Control Blade independent rear suspension.For a smoother ride and more precise handling, this advanced rear-suspension system allows each wheel to independently move both upwards and backwards over bumps in the road.

Ford PowerShift transmission.Using the very latest gearbox technology, Ford PowerShift delivers the perfect combination between the convenience of an automatic and the performance normally associated with a manual. This new 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission cleverly selects the next appropriate gear at precisely the right moment for lightning-fast gear changes, with no disruption to the flow of power. Fuel economy is improved, compared to a conventional automatic too. It also has a manual mode that allows you to switch gears at the flick of the shifter but without the need for a clutch pedal.

Easy-Fuel capless refuelling system.Using Ford’s Easy-Fuel system, it’s hard to fill up with the wrong fuel. Why? As the correct fuel nozzle for your car is the only one that will fit. Another great thing about this system is that it’s capless, which means you’ll never touch another dirty fuel cap again.

Active Grille Shutter.Motor-operated shutters play an important role in monitoring the temperature of the engine. If the engine temperature is low or the vehicle travels at high speeds, the shutters close, reducing drag. Conversely, when the sensors detect higher engine temperatures, the shutters open to help cool the engine.

Ford Protect offers a holistic suite of service, maintenance, warranty and roadside-assistance products aimed at keeping your new FOCUS and FOCUS ST in perfect working condition.

New vehicle 4yr/120 000km Warranty – Every FOCUS and FOCUS ST comes with a 4yr/120 000km Comprehensive Warranty.

Service Plan – Every FOCUS and FOCUS ST comes standard with a 5yr/90 000km Service Plan, which covers all scheduled servicing except friction materials, i.e. brake pads and wiper blades.

Corrosion Warranty – Cover lasts for 5yr/unlimited km.
