We specialise in the manufacture of high-quality Agricultural, Industrial and Equestrian Steel Frame Buildings.

South West Steel Construction are one of the largest Steel Frame Building manufacturers in the UK and well known for our excellent service and durable products. We have over 25 years of experience in the industry.

We offer our services nationwide with buildings throughout the UK and Ireland and even as far as Asia.

We operate from our large purpose built factory in Holsworthy, Devon. Our large site enables us to store hundreds of tonnes of steel, as well as a large range of agricultural building supplies.

We are working towards obtaining the European CE mark for our Agricultural Buildings. We have a fully coded welding team and experienced office staff within our 23 members.

We also have multiple erecting teams throughout the UK who offer a reliable and affordable service.

Design & Manufacturing We have our own in-house design and manufacturing teams at South West Steel Construction. We also provide full detailed planning drawings for your planning application.

When an order is confirmed a building will begin design in our drawings office, our experienced draughtsmen use professional 3D CAD steel detailing software where a building will be modelled producing fabrication drawings, elevations and erection drawings for site.

All our in-house fabricators are fully coded to the highest standards and are all specialised in the manufacture of Steel Frame Buildings as well as doors, feed barriers, gates and many other types of fabrication. We stock a vast amount of steel sections and cut all our steel in-house.

All our buildings have a galvanized finish which ensures a quality finish on the building and can give a maintenance-free life of over 50 years!

We source the highest quality materials at the most competitive prices.

Hunter PVC Guttering All our buildings come with some of the finest quality rainwater products on the market. Hunter Plastics are a renowned company for PVC guttering and down-pipes as the durability and quality is unbeatable.

We supply a vast range of the Hunter Plastics product range and offer all relevant fixings and connections.

We can also provide steel Valley Gutters and Box Gutters for side apex buildings or buildings that have a large width where the amount of rainwater on the roof will increase. All our steel gutters are galvanized.

director Ian Ellacott. This bull is of high pedigree and the son of Ferdinand from the popular Yeomadon herd. He was 12 months old when Ian bought him and he joins a herd of Red Ruby Cows that Ian has been purchasing recently for The Larkworthy Herd which he is hoping to build a herd of 40-50 this year and then increase in the near future.

Ian will be showing him at all the agricultural shows as the bull has strong show features. Shortly he will have semen staws available to all farmers who want this high confirmation meat bull, or simply for breeding. Check out our website to see how he did in the shows!
