EMMANUEL - GOD WITH US"...All this took place that it might be fulfilled which the Lord had spoken through the prophet, Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel - which, when translated, means, God with us..." Matthew 1: 22-23 (AMP)This is another name given to Jesus. Jesus was truly one with God - taking on humanity to bring reconciliation between God and us.This was the only way to bring us back into relationship with God. God came as a baby, grew to be a man and walked, talked and fellowshipped with humanity in the person of Jesus - Emmanuel - God with us. And today we as Christians can enjoy the presence of God and fellowship with Him through our faith in Jesus.God is with us todaySo let us celebrate!

Christmas WonderlandOur Christmas Wonderland outreach is gearing up be a great success! We are so excited to be able to reach the children of our community with the simple gospel message this Christmas. Our outreach is projected at approximately 150 children! We are still looking for some donations to help pull together this event. Please help however you can!•Christmas Trees:  We would love to borrow your spare Christmas tree(s) to decorate our Wonderland! Please drop off Friday, Dec 13th, and pick up Sunday, Dec 15th.

•Outdoor blow-up decorations•Candy, chocolate, granola bars, fruit snacks, etc. Please bring enough to cover our target goal (150 children).

•Money Donations: This outreach is estimated to cost us around $2000; any contributions are a great help! Please make your donations payable to New City Church and indicate Christmas Wonderland Outreach on the envelope.

Tithing EnvelopesWe are currently assigning new tithing envelope numbers for next year.   If you need a set of numbered envelopes, please sign the list at the office or talk to the treasurer before December 21, 2013. Kids MinistriesOn Sunday mornings, we offer a comprehensive Sunday School program for children from ages 3 until grade 6. On Sunday nights, kids have a great time at Discipletown with Tomi Ministries.We also offer nursery for the little ones during both morning and evening services.Wednesday nights is Cadet Training at New City Church with “Star Trek Academy”. Come enjoy the prayer service while your kids grow in God! Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
