Troubleshooting TCP/IP Problems Lab (15 points)

Paste a screenshot of your completed ElementK lab transcript found at (Home/Account/Information/Transcript). Your name must appear on your transcript to earn full points. (2.5 points)

Write a paragraph (minimum five college-level sentences) below that summarizes what was accomplished in this lab, what you learned by performing it, how it relates to this week’s TCO’s and other course material; and just as important, how you feel it will benefit you in your academic and professional career. (7.5 points)

When I first started this lab I was a little nervous. This is my first time using the iLab environment. However after following simple steps, like clicking on the course that I’m enrolled in and then clicking start lab, I found it quite easy to navigate the lab environment. I simply followed the steps provided, and received the expected outcome. This lab taught me how to log on with a specific name and password, and how to generate and view the network traffic, using the command prompt window. I feel that this lab environment will be beneficial to me because I learn best from hands on experiences.

Copy and Paste the following screenshots from your Troubleshooting TCP/IP Problems lab below.

Task 1: Step 1, Paste a screenshot of your successful log on to Vancouver as the Vancouver User. (1.25 points)

NETW202 Week 1 Lab ReportUsing Windows Applications as Network Tools vLab (15 points)

Write a paragraph (minimum five college-level sentences) below that summarizes what was accomplished in this lab, what you learned by performing it, how it relates to this week’s TCO’s and other course material; and just as important, how you feel it will benefit you in your academic and professional career. (10 points)

In this lab, I used the ipconfig command and learned what the output was for it. I have had some experience with this command but I feel that because that is something that I don’t normally use, I need more practice. This lab relates to this weeks tco because this week we are learning about network tools, and this lab dealt directly with network tools.

Copy and Paste the following screenshots from your Using Windows Applications as Network Tools lab below.

Task 1: Paste a screenshot of the IPconfig command showing your network addressing. (1.25 points)

Task 2: Paste a screenshot of the ping command showing a successful ping (1.25 points)
