The capital of Nepal is Kathmandu. Some of the other major cities are:

The majority of people in Nepal speak Nepalese, the native language. About nine other dialects are also spoken, including English.
Here’s your change...
The Nepalese currency is Rupees.1 Rupee equals $0.02 dollars...
And $1 dollar equals 50 Rupees!!
Oooh...Paparazzi...
Probably the most famous people from Nepal are the Sherpas. You know... those guys who help you climb Mount Everest?
Oh never mind...
I find that very hard to believe...
The religions in Nepal are: 80.6% - Hinduism... 10.7% - Buddhism... 4.2% - Islamic... 3.6% - Mindhum... 0.5% - Christianity... And 0.4% - Other.
And to finish...Just a couple of things to look out for: • Mount Everest, it’s 8,848 metres high
( you won’t miss it ) ! • Nepalese prayer flags, brightly colored
flags covered in friendly words. Communication problems?... No worries!: •Greetings/Farewells: Namaste ( na-mar-
stay).
