Family, Sport, Friends, Health, Studies

2. Is health between these priorities? Why yes, why not?Living peacefully comprises health – health is essential to enjoy your daily life, giving access to a scope of activities. In my opinion, health is one of those things that you value when you don’t have it: handicap or illnesses are terrible to overcome.

3. In your opinion, are you conducting a healthy life? Why?I try to eat vegetables, avoid junk; I also exercise daily. Lastly I avoid polluted environments and prefer walking to driving.

4. What are the key points for conducting a healthy life?I reckon food is the cornerstone of healthy living. Eating good food (quality wise) is essential to prevent illness. One mustn’t forget the essential role of exercise (training, walking etc…) and avoiding polluted areas.

5. Is the healthy life a trend or it’s always been important? It’s always been important but today green eating, running etc… is sort of a trend; indeed this trend is an opposite reaction to junk foods and sedentary lifestyles that prevail in urban environments. Some firm’s strategy embody this trend (eg: Nike running fuel band)

6. Are you satisfied with your life rhythm?Totally.

7. At your work, do you spend most of the time seated? Do you do something to balance it?

I have training 3 times a week. Unfortunately I sit down most of the time.

Interview Protocol for the Customer/Buyer Needs AnalysisName: Thibault LavabreEmail:

1. Nowadays, most of the society is concern about their living standards; mention your 5 priorities in your life.

- Materialistic comfort- Social interactions- Successful career- Fitness- Food

2. Is health between these priorities? Why yes, why not?Health is not included in the list above as I am fortunate enough to be exempt from recurring health issues. Nevertheless, good health should never be taken for granted. Moreover, fitness, achieved through regular physical exercise and a healthy eating pattern are important concerns of mine.

3. In your opinion, are you conducting a healthy life? Why?In my opinion I am definitely above average in terms of healthy lifestyle – at least relative to the peers of my age group. I am disciplined enough to maintain a top notch physical condition. I cook at home most of the meals I eat and take time buying quality ingredients (mostly organic). However, I engage in excessive alcohol consumption a couple times a week. I could also definitely improve on my sleeping patterns.

4. What are the key points for conducting a healthy life?In order to achieve an optimal health I would name the following contributing factors (in order of importance to me): healthy alimentation consisting of three meals of day, avoiding snacks, regular physical exercise four to five times a week, a healthy sleeping pattern.

5. Is the healthy life a trend or it’s always been important? To me, leading a healthy life has always been important. However, in our developed countries, I think being fit and having a healthy lifestyle has experienced a resurgence among the wider public. The rise of health and fitness among people’s concerns occurred half a dozen years ago and has implemented itself at the root of our norms.

6. Are you satisfied with your life rhythm?Overall, on a scale of one to ten, I would answer eight. So yes, I am pretty satisfied with my life rhythm.

7. At your work, do you spend most of the time seated? Do you do something to balance it?

Page 22: Neg Interview Protocol for the Customer

At work, I spend fifteen hours a day seated behind a desk. Add to that another 30mins seated in a cab as well as another hour sat for meals and it is fair to say I easily spend in excess of 90% of my time awake seated.I make up for that by talking walks as much as I can or standing up when possible. Besides, I stretch on a daily basis before my workout session or after getting up. Also, thanks to countless hours of physio as a teenager, I have very good posture both standing and seating.

8. Would you do something to improve your life rhythm?I would improve my terrible sleeping habits. I would also be more efficient at work in order to spend less time at the office and more time taking care of my body.

9. Mention what things of your life you would like to change? Any bad habits?

Apart from the occasional illegal substance abuse and an excessive taste for alcohol, I do not have any other bad habits affecting my health.

10. What prevents you from having/enjoying your dream life?Unlimited financial wealth.

11. Do you do sports regularly?Four times to five times a week on average with a fairly diversified mix.

12. If you had to rate your level of health between 1 (lowest) and 20 (highest), where do you think you would be?

18.

13. Do you consider yourself an ambitious person? Why?Very much so indeed. I am a very driven person. I’ve set myself goals from a very early age and I’ve always worked harder than my peers to get where I am today. This comes from my upbringing. My father always strived to optimise everything in life. He taught me that nothing was worth undertaking if you weren’t going to give it your full capabilities.

14. Do you like to compete with others? Why?Perhaps because of my ambition, I am a competitive individual. However, I only compete in the fields where I know I have an edge over my opponents, whether in the academic, social, work or sports field.

15. What is the final goal of doing sports?Exercising. Sports shouldn’t just be about competing against your opponents. And some sports should be carried out regardless of whether they provide you with any fun or not.

16. Do you measure the outcome of the exercises done? Not really no. I do not weigh myself regularly as I know my weight is stable thanks to my regular exercises and my balanced diet.

Page 23: Neg Interview Protocol for the Customer

17. Which measures do you take into account?

18. Is the weight important in the fat burning? If the question is asking whether your body mass has anything to do with your capacity to burn calories then that question would be much better answered by a dietician or a biologist.
