• Inboxes: Temporary location where scanned documents are stored

• Permissions – administrator can assign/change user role and assign/remove index inbox

• Locations and Titles – locations and titles are designated before a document can be indexed

• Sources – assign sources for indexing images

• Brief Overview – Using vxDocManager– Note: Image can be added by importing or

scanning

– User will log on and select the system– User selects an Inbox and clicks Add Images to

begin scanning session

• After the user selects Scan button, user will be prompted to enter Scan settings

• Scan settings are entered and the user is ready to load documents for scanning

• User can preview document(s) before indexing• An image can be deleted prior to indexing• Comments can be added to an image or group of

images prior to indexing
