Commencing on July 1, the PGA of America will roll out its new Youth Safety Program initiative for all PGA and PGA Section junior golf. The program is designed to provide criminal background checks for individuals that have direct involvement with Junior Golf Programs throughout the country. With PGA of America members being recognized leaders in junior golf programs nationwide, the PGA Board of Directors strongly believed that all national and Section junior golf programs should be required to fulfill youth safety program requirements in order to conduct programs that carry the brand of the PGA. Click here to read more about the initial roll out plan for this program.
