London Eye is a big Ferris wheel. It was built on the banks of River Thames in 1999.

The construction took 7 years. London Eye is 135 m high. It is is one of the tallest buildings in the city. On a clear day you can see 25 miles from the top.

One ride takes 30 minutes. There are 32 cabins,

It is a big Ferris Wheel also called the Millenium Wheel.

1998-2000, opened March 9th, 2000

It is at the southbank of the River Thames, near Westminster

Bridge.

- You can take a ride, it takes about 30 minutes.

- You have a beautiful sight all over London, if the weather is fine you can see up to 40 km. Maybe you can even see the castle of Windsor outsight of London.

- It is about 135m high. - It has 32 capsules. - Up to 25 persons can go into

one capsule. - It is very romantic at night.

Big Ben Big Ben is the

Sights of London Buckingham Palace It is a huge Royal

Palace with 775 rooms.

1703 Westminster Today part of the palace is still used as a Residence for the Royal family. It is often used for ceremonies, banquets, parties... The State Rooms are open to public from July - September. You can also visit the park and the stables. There are two museums on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, the Queen's Gallery (art) and the Royal Mews (Royal transportation).

You can see the Change of the Guards every day at 1 lam.
