NCW Knitters Guild Newsletter May 2015 Business Meeting May 5, 2015 Presiding: Victoria Bosche, President. Meeting called to order at 6:15 pm., 35 in attendance. Guests welcomed by Victoria—5 guests this evening. Treasurer report: $10 in new member dues received for April. April minutes approved. Minutes (in the newsletter) are emailed or mailed to members. Vic thanked Kimberlee Craig and Sherry Anderson for providing snacks for tonight’s meeting. If you’re bringing snacks, please also bring napkins and plates. The Eagles provide beverages. RECIPE FOR ICE CREAM DESSERT: 12 ounce frozen pink lemonade concentrate and 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream. Combine half of each in food processor, mix, put in 9 x 13 glass dish, repeat. Freeze. Enjoy! Thirteen members turned out for the Shadow Ridge Alpacas field trip. It was a very enjoyable event. We are looking for candidates for next year's Board, terms begin in August. Current Projects & Committee Reports Upcoming Programs: Next meeting on June 1st, 6:00 pm at the Eagles. We will be making catnip balls and cat blankets to donate to the humane society. Patterns and info will be emailed to members. July meeting will once again be our annual Stitch and Pitch event at the Apple Sox baseball game on Tuesday, July 7th. The tickets will most likely cost $6 each and can be picked up at our June meeting or arrangements will be made for a pick up before the game.
