Additional Navigation Tools

Click on the Cart icon at any time to view items in your cart and to begin the checkout process.

Click on the Back icon to navigate to the previous pages.

Click on the Live Chat button for immediate access to an NCTI representative (during business hours).

Students The Students section contains:

Notification of students with expiring courses. Click the Show Students button

to view the student names and their course expiration period.

Search Students by Name or NCTI ID field with total student count.

Show Advanced Search button provides search filtering capability.

Add Students button to add students.

Alphabetical listing of your students.

Expiring Courses View and access any student(s) who have courses that are expiring within the next seven days.

Click the Show Students button to view the student name, the course title, and the days until expiration.

Click on the student name to access the Courses section.

Click on the course name to see lessons that have been completed, enrolled date, end date, test status, shipping information, and which certifications the course is used in. Refer to Courses for additional information.

Click the Go Back link to return to the previous section.

Search Students The Search Students by Name or NCTI ID field allows you to enter specific student name search criteria. such as first, last, or partial name, or their NCTI identification number.

Note: You can click on the Show Advanced Search button to use a filter to narrow down the student search selection.

Show Advanced Search The Show Advanced Search field allows you to use a filter to search the entire pool of students or it can be used in conjunction with the Search Students field to narrow down the search selection.

Click the Advanced Search button and then select the appropriate filter from the Select Filter menu:

Active Students Only Students with Expiring

Courses Students by Certification Students with Final Exam

Codes Students Under Contracts No Filters

Click the Hide Advanced Search button to close the Select Filter menu.

Active Students Only The Active Students Only filter provides a listing and total count of only the students who are currently in progress with a course.

Students with Expiring Courses The Students with Expiring Courses filter provides a screen that allows you to select the expiration date to view students with expiring courses: 7, 14, 30, 60, and 90 days.

Click on the number of days to expiration see how many students have courses expiring in that timeframe as well as the list of students.

Students by Certification The Students by Certification filter allows you to view all students who have completed a specific certification. Use the Select a Degree menu to choose the desired certificate.

Students with Final Exam Codes The Students with Final Exam Codes filter allows you to view the student name, the course name, the end date, the status, and the final exam code. You can click on the course name to view the details. Refer to the Courses section for additional information.

Students Under Contracts The Students Under Contracts filter allows you to view all students who are currently under contract.

No Filters No Filters allows you to clear any selected filter while allowing you to keep in the advanced search mode.

Add New Student Click on the Add New Student icon to enter new student information. You have the option to add courses at the same time.

Enter the student details in the appropriate fields.

Click on the Enroll in Courses (Optional) link. A listing with the available courses displays.

Click on the associated course checkbox(es).

Click the Submit button. A message shows the request was successful.

Click the Add Another link to add additional students.

Alphabetical List An alphabetical listing of all students is provided. Each name also shows the student’s NCTI identification number in parenthesis. You can scroll through the listing or click on the letter that corresponds to the student’s last name to be directed to a listing of all students whose last name begins with that letter.

Courses

This section provides an overview of the student’s courses that are completed or in progress. You may also see the student’s personalized career path and the steps required to complete that particular path. Note: Depending on the size of your browser, these headings may change to Active, History, and Catalog.

Shows that the course is in progress.

Allows you to add a course for the student.

Shows details for the recommended career path, if applicable.

Lessons or exams that have been completed.

Lessons that have not been completed.

Exams that have not been completed.

Click on the course title to see specific details for the course:

Date the course ends or ended Lessons completed Exams:

Lesson name Date Score Final exam

Dates Enrolled Course ends or is completed

Shipping information, if available Certifications in which the course is included Click View Certificate to see

specific details from the Certifications section.

Note: For courses already completed, you can print the student’s certificate by clicking the Print Certificate button.

View Scorecard If the student has completed the final exam, click the View scorecard to view details for the completed course:

Category Score Percent correct

Click the Print Certificate button to print the student’s completed course certificate.

Add Course You can enroll the student in courses.

Click on the Add Course button.

The alphabetical section shows which courses the student has already completed and which are in progress. Refer to Course Catalog for additional information on ordering courses and for enrolling multiple students at once. Note: Click on any course title for certifications that have been competed or that are in progress to access the Courses section. Refer to Courses for additional details.

Certifications

This section shows certifications the student has achieved as well as the certifications in progress.

Career Certifications: Click on the completed certificate box to view details, such as the certificate description, date the certificate was awarded, completed courses, and the course scores.

Certification Progress: Click on the certificates in progress to view details such as the certificate description, the number of courses remaining, completed courses and scores, and unfinished courses and status.

College Certification and Degree Progress: View student’s progress toward college credits/degree.

Contact This section allows you to view a student’s information, such as first name, last name, phone number, email, shipping address, and billing address.

Profile (Name) This section contains your personal information, such as name, telephone number, email, shipping address, and billing address. You may update your phone number and email address.

Enter the information in the appropriate fields.

Click the Save Changes button to save your edits.

Orders This section provides a history of the courses you have ordered, including the order number and date.

Click on a specific order number to view additional details including: Payment method Bill to Ship to Course number Products (course name) Student(s) enrolled Quantities Pricing

Click the print icon to create/print the order details.

Course Catalog This section provides the entire catalog of available courses. To find a course, you can:

Enter a title or key word in the Search Courses field

Use the Courses by Category section to view all courses within a specific category Click on the category box

Look for courses alphabetically

Enroll Students Click on any course title to view the course details, such as price, course duration, course description, and associated certificate(s). To enroll students:

Click the checkbox if you want a printed textbook of the course (an e-book is already included).

Click on the Enroll Students button to order the course.

Select the students you want to purchase the course for. You can search: Enter first, last, or partial name in

the Search Students field Scroll through the alphabetical

listing alphabetical listing. Click on the name of each student to be enrolled. Note: If the student has already taken the course or is restricted from taking the course, such as exceeding the number of active courses, the student’s name is flagged and will not be added to the cart.

Click the Add to Cart button to add the course to your cart.

Use the Clear Selection link to remove the check marks from the boxes.

The course title is stored in the cart until you are ready to check out. Use the View Cart link or the Cart icon to start the checkout. Refer to Checkout for additional details.

Reports NCTI Amp provides the following reports:

Student Progress Know Your Numbers Graduate Career Track

If you do not have access to Reports and would like it, please contact NCTI Customer Care.

Additional Reporting Features You can use the search (Find | Next) field to use key words or phrases to narrow your search. An export drop-down menu is provided to allow you to export the report in the following formats:

XML file with report data CSV (comma delimited) PDF MHTML (web active) Excel TIFF file Word

Note: For best results when printing reports, it is recommended that you export the file to PDF or TIFF first.

Student Progress Report You can create a report for students currently active in a course using three views:

Course Summary Only: Quick view of your students’ progress. You see only a summarized report.

Lesson Detail Drilldown (Collapsed): This drilldown report is shown with its contents collapsed but allows you toggle the display to expanded by clicking on the Course Name plus (+) box.

Lesson Detail Drilldown (Expanded): This report is shown with its contents expanded but allows you toggle the display to collapsed by clicking on the Course Name minus (-) box.

To create the report: Select the Report Type from the drop-down menu.

Select the date from the Active On or After field. The current date defaults.

Click the View Report button.

Sorting You can sort the report by Student Name, Course Name, Enroll Date, End Date, Last Activity, and Status. To sort, click the arrows adjacent the specific heading.

Know Your Numbers This report provides an education progress checklist for students. You can scroll through the student-name listing or narrow down your search by using the Last Name Like and First Name Like fields.

Enter the full or partial student name into either, or both, the Last Name Like and First Name Like fields.

Click the View Report button. To create the report:

Select the Report Type from the drop-down menu.

Select the date from the Active On or After field. The current date defaults.

Click on a student name to generate a personalized report.

Graduate Report Find students who have completed their courses for a specific date range.

Enter the Start Date and End Date in the fields.

Click the View Report button.

Career Track Report Review career tracks for students using either a start date and an end, or date range.

Enter the Start Date and End Date in the fields. To report using a start date, enter

the date in the Start Date field and select NULL for the end date.

To report using an end date, enter the date in the End Date field and select NULL for the start date.

Click the View Report button.

Checkout Once you have added courses and printed course textbooks for purchase from the Course Catalog, the Cart icon displays the quantity of items you have in your cart.

Click on the Cart icon and the Checkout screen displays the courses, printed course textbooks (if ordered) quantities, and the students enrolled in those courses.

Click X to delete courses you do not wish to purchase from the cart.

Click the Trashcan icon to remove students from the course to be purchased.

If courses are prepaid through your company, a Confirm Order button displays. Click the Confirm Order button to complete the transaction. Click the View Order Receipt

button to see the purchase receipt.

Click the Go to Order History button to access the Orders section for your complete purchase history.

Click the Go to Catalog link to return to the Course Catalog.

Payments To purchase courses/textbooks, you can complete the transaction by purchase order or credit card.

Purchase Order: Type the purchase order number into the Enter PO Number field.

Click the Confirm PO button. Click the View Order Receipt button to see the purchase receipt.

Click the Go to Order History button to access the Order History section for your complete purchase history.

Click the Go to Catalog link to return to the Course Catalog.

Credit Card:

Click the Proceed to Payment button to access the credit card payment method.

Review the order and enter the payment information in the provided text fields.

Click the Complete Order button to complete the transaction. or

Click the Go Back button to return to the cart.

Logout Click on the Logout button to log out and exit the application (returns you to the Login screen). Note: If you do not use the Logout button, you can access the same web location if you come back to NCTI Amp before the application logs you out.

PC compatible Operating System only: Windows 7-10

OS-X (Apple) 10.8x and 10.9x for certain courses.

Web browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 10-11 and Edge; the latest Google

Chrome; the latest Firefox; the latest Safari.

Screen resolutions should be 1024 wide by a minimum of 768 high (pixels).

Internet connection: High-speed Internet access required for online courses (DSL or faster).

Certain courses require 7.x or Adobe Flash.
