distances to maintainVoltage Minimum Distance 750v to 150kv 3m 150kv to =< 250 4.5m > 250kv 6m

If unknown, verify with Hydro One or Local Utility and call Customer Communications Centre 1-800-367-0855.

When doing locates for construction projects, overhead power line verification must be ascertained with Hydro One if needed.

A record confirmation must be maintained for this aspect.Update: Aug / Sep 2008: A recent verification with Darryl

8. New Clamp Suggestion Alternate Solution: Chains with clips

Update: Aug 22, 2008. In progress. Update: Sep 24, 2008. In progress.

* The difficulty of using the clamp:

a. it is awkward for storage purposes inside the Service Truck and

b. was not engineered designed for

pre-cast concrete rings or other heavy pre- cast concrete structures.

* Was originally designed for masonry work only

and not for use in road construction materials.

It would be fine for square rings but not for

circular rings.
