Yamba / Newcastle / Sydney / Port Kembla / Eden MARINE NOTICE NO PA0417 Navigation Warning – Dredging Works, Snug Cove, Eden September 6 th to November 2017 THE WORKS The Project includes capital dredging in Snug Cove and the extension of the existing breakwater wharf to enable passenger vessels to berth alongside. NAVIGATION WARNING Dredging works will commence on Wednesday the 6th of September. Vessels included will be dredge Machiavelli, Tug PT Monto, Tug PT May and split hopper barges H1201/1202. The dredging program is scheduled to run for up to 10 weeks taking 6 to 8 barges a day to the disposal site. Barges will be towed by the tugs with approximately 200m of tow line out. Mariners are not to pass between the tug and barge at any time. A fifty meter exclusion zone is to be maintained around the dredge, vessels that require to pass the Machiavelli closer should contact the dredge first.

Navigation Warning – Dredging Works, Snug Cove, Eden

September 6th to November 2017

THE WORKSThe Project includes capital dredging in Snug Cove and the extension of the existing breakwater wharf to enable passenger vessels to berth alongside.

NAVIGATION WARNING

Dredging works will commence on Wednesday the 6th of September. Vessels included will be dredge Machiavelli, Tug PT Monto, Tug PT May and split hopper barges H1201/1202.

The dredging program is scheduled to run for up to 10 weeks taking 6 to 8 barges a day to the disposal site.

Barges will be towed by the tugs with approximately 200m of tow line out.Mariners are not to pass between the tug and barge at any time.

Vessel operators are advised to exercise caution when navigating in the vicinity.
