LOOP SERVICE
Provides intra-campus rides for eligible faculty, staff, and students with disabilities on a first-come, first-served basis.
Assists persons with mobility disabilities (including temporary disability as a result of injury) and visual impairments.
The Loop only operates on the core campus. Normal operations: Weekdays 7am-10pm

BIKES
Bicycle racks are provided at convenient locations throughout the central campus area and residence halls.
Register your bike with UCPD to access the 3 secured, covered, campus bike cages, free of charge for students (no overnight parking allowed).
Walk zones are enforced in heavy walking areas such as Sproul Plaza where biking is not permitted.
BicyCAL is a student co-op bicycle maintenance shop on the Berkeley campus that is run by students. Free hands-on bicycle repair! Located at MLK Student Union at the ASUC Art Studio.

PARKING & PARKING PERMITS
Student parking is extremely LIMITED on campus (parking is only permitted in “S” lots with exceptions) Restricted to students who live less than a 2-mile radius
from campus. Students may park in any campus lot or garage 5pm-2am. Parking on campus is not allowed between 2am - 5am.
City of Berkeley Parking Has restrictive permit parking rules weekdays 8am-7pm Contact City of Berkeley for overnight parking

Estimated Permit Types and Prices (2020-21) Student Carpool Permits: $158/ semester
Students must log their carpool trips on BerkeleyMoves! (cal.rideamigos.com) for a minimum 8x per month, unless otherwise stated.
Residence Hall: $1668 per year, paid upfront Allows for overnight parking in RH spaces. Criteria & application determined by CalDining,
submitted to P&T Waitlist for extremely limited parking.
Student Commuter: $442/ semester

Scooters Personally owned scooters are allowed on campus but
