In the past, we wasted lots of water and electricity and we threw allour rubbish into dumps. We didn’t recycle anything!

However, people started classifying rubbish and recycling. That’s cool!

Wait! Althoughpeople recycle a

lot, it’s notenough!

WHY?

Because now we save energy and water and recycle ourrubbish, but we can’t recycle all the rubbish that we produced

in the past. There’s a lot of rubbish!

If a plant can transform carbon dioxide into oxygen…

Maybe the scientists of Year 3 can invent a

living thing that transforms all the

pollution and rubbish into something good…

I can transform these

hamburgers into beautiful poo.

Oh my gosh! You are stupid! These children can’t invent a living thing that transforms

can’t invent a normal living thing. They have to create…

… a monster.And that monster will clean up the

planet!

But those scientists need to create special systems: nervous, locomotor, circulatory, respiratory, reproductive and digestive

systems! Normal systems can’t use pollution.
