What to Expect From Treatment Treatment with the mask is
suitable for both men and women, clients ranging in age from mid
teens to those in their 80's and even 90's have all reported
positive outcomes from treatment, and the treatment is suitable for
all skin types and may be used on any part of the body. Many of the
test subjects who initially used the product as an anti ageing
facial treatment only have begun using the product as an all-over
skincare treatment as often as once or twice per month. Those who
have used the product commonly make the following observations of
their skin, usually evident immediately: v treated skin is
noticeably softer, an outcome that is identified by almost all
participants in the trial v fine lines and wrinkles are less
prominent; skin tone and elasticity is visibly improved; overall
observations being the skin appears younger
v skin condition and tone (colour) becomes more consistent.
Areas of uneven pigmentation, melasma, patches of irritation and
redness, areas of excessive oiliness or dryness decrease in size
and severity
-
v sagging skin areas reduced with greater skin tautness
especially under the eyes, jowls, neck and under upper arm/armpit
area v skin previously described as 'dull' improves in its
luminosity or radiance v skin feels clean and refreshed -
especially if the mask has been used as a gentle exfoliating
treatment (see more later) v blackheads are reduced, enlarged pores
shrink v for those suffering with acne the acne cycle is
accelerated with acne appearing following the first and sometimes
second application of the mask. However those with acne prone skin
who continue with regular treatments (on a roughly monthly cycle)
report significant improvements in the recurrence of acne outbreaks
v reduction in both excessive oily areas of skin as well as areas
of dry, red or irritated skin v users with skin conditions
including dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis did not experience
negative effects and in some cases commented on symptoms appearing
less intense after exposure to the mask. Elimination of dry flaky
skin in eyebrows were noted by some people
Long Term Effects Every individual is unique and the responses
to this treatment vary. However the indications are both from
historical use of this treatment as well as current observations
that the benefits that are noted following each treatment are
evident for some time and these benefits are maintained when the
treatment is repeated every 1-2 months, and in some cases the
benefits are incremental with positive changes occurring over the
period of 6-12 months with treatments every 4-6 weeks.

Instructions For Use Warning: This is a 100% natural product,
totally authentic to Thai Traditional Medicine. The product will
stain fabrics and surfaces such as wood or wallpaper - however will
rinse off hard surfaces such as bathroom areas easily while still
moist. Prepare the area and wear a smock or apron, tie your hair
back, and keep some paper towels or similar handy in case the
unexpected happens. If you plan to apply the mask yourself this is
best done in the bathroom - for your face, do this in front of the
mirror above the hand basin. For the rest of your body, stand in
the bathtub or shower enclosure.
Preparation First, purchase at your local supermarket or store
some natural honey and natural yoghurt. The honey should be 100%
pure, golden 'runny' honey and you will have a choice as to what is
the best available to you. If you can obtain it, we recommend there
is no better option that New Zealand Manuka honey. The yoghurt
should be natural, unsweetened and without any other ingredients
included, and this should be a white or off-white cream. You will
need a mixing bowl (porcelain or metal is recommended to prevent
the bowl becoming discoloured), a mixing and application utensil
(kitchen spatula or a simple dessert spoon
-
or similar); the honey, yoghurt, and Royal Siam dry powder mix.
Allow 10 grams of the dry mix powder for a facial mask application;
30g if you plan an all-over treatment. Allow about one third of the
dry powder volume for honey and the same for the natural yoghurt.
Warm the honey slightly under warm water or in the microwave to
make sure it flows freely. You can replace the yoghurt with regular
milk if you wish - or even water. Place the dry mix powder into the
bowl and add a small amount of the honey and yoghurt, mixing the
ingredients together with your spoon or spatula. Add more honey and
yoghurt little by little and keep mixing - do not add too much all
at once. The aim is to have a thick creamy mix that is moist enough
to spread on your skin reasonably easily without there being dry
lumps, but not so wet that it does not stick to the skin or runs
off. Think of it as icing for a wedding or birthday cake. Now for
the fun part. Some people prefer to wear surgical gloves when
applying the mask however this is a matter of personal preference
and is not necessary. Take a small amount of the mask - no more
than half a teaspoon - and place this lightly on a area of skin you
wish to treat. Then using your fingertips, gently spread the mask
to cover a wider area of skin using a circular motion, or long
strokes to make sure the mask
-
is fully spread onto the skin surface. Repeat this until you
have covered all areas to be treated; and with any left over
product simply repeat the application in the areas that need most
attention (excess product will keep for a week or longer if cover
and placed in the refrigerator). You should leave the treatment
mask in place for at least 20 minutes - the longer, the better.
While this happens you don't have to stay still! The mask acts as a
highly effective exfoliating treatment and the level to which you
want to do this is up to you. You can apply the mask lightly or
massage it into your skin with firm pressure for several minutes.
For maximum effectiveness as an exfoliating treatment, wait until
the mask is nearly dry and then vigorously and with firm pressure
massage it into the skin with a circular or long stroke motion.
Here you will find the mask will roll into clumps or small balls of
product - removing dad skin cells, impurities and toxins, clearing
pores and invigorating the skin. Many people find the process of
leaving the mask until almost dry and then vigorously rubbing it
off the skin for several minutes to be an excellent treatment for
arms, legs, and the body while reserving a more gentle approach for
the face and neck - however this is a matter or personal
preference. Once you have completed he exfoliating stage to the
desired level, it is now time to rinse off the mask - this is best
done with plenty of water - Goldilocks style, not too hot and not
too cold. Doing this in the shower is ideal. Any of the mask that
has dried should easily dissolve with warm
-
water and there is no need for vigorous scrubbing - just
continue to rinse off the mask with warm water (no soap) and a
gentle rubbing until the water runs clear. It is likely you will
still have residue clinging to your skin - especially the turmeric
which is a yellow/gold colour. So now you need to use a gentle
cleanser to thoroughly remove the last of the mask residue. Do not
undo much of the benefit of the treatment by using regular
household soap or detergent, but use a quality, gentle, pH balanced
skin cleansing bar or cream - such as Royal Siam's pure Queen Bee
Facial Cleansing Bar. Finally gently dry your skin with a soft
towel, without the need for frenzied rubbing. You're good to go!
Before declaring final victory, however - rinse off any residue of
the mask from your handbasin, shower or other surfaces and if you
have accidentally spilled any of the mask or ingredients onto
clothing make sure you treat this to prevent a permanent stain.
Warnings While the mask is designed for external use the
ingredients are all non toxic and should cause no problems if a
small amount is accidentally ingested. Avoid getting any of the
mask in your eyes and if that does happen rinse out with warm water
immediately. Should you have any symptoms of an allergic reaction
to the mask such as development of a rash, itching, pain, swelling
etc cease use immediately and rinse off with water. If the problem
persists refer to your health professional.
