Labour Inspectorate’s Cooperation on Information Exchange and Labour Law Enforcement

• Signed cooperation agreements with the National Labour Inspectorate of Poland and the Working Conditions Authority of Portugal;

• Negotiations held with the State Labour Inspectorate of Lithuania, the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate of Spain, the Labour Inspectorate of Greece, the Gangmasters Licensing Authority in the UK.

Cooperation on Information Activities under Art. 4 of Directive 96/71/EC

• Liaison Office under Art. 4 of Directive 96/71/EC: exchanged information with the Liaison Offices in Belgium, France and the Netherlands; addressed requests to the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia;

• Participation in the first meeting of the Committee of Experts on Posting of Workers – March 2009, Brussels;

• Participation in a joint WG on drafting amendments to the Labour Code in fulfillment of commitments of the R of Bulgaria under Art. 39 of the Treaty establishing the EC, Regulation (EEC) 1408/71, Regulation (EC) 883/2004 and Directive 96/71/EC.

Regional Cooperation RALI

Regional Alliance of the Labour Inspectorates in Southeastern Europe, Azerbaijan and Ukraine – a powerful tool, inter alia, for resolving cross-border problems through:

• Improvement of the communication channels – RALI website;

• Exchange of experience.
