There were 29 delegates registered at the Children’s Convention. Eighteen were online delegates and 11 registered on-site. The Children’s Convention was almost to capacity this year. In keeping with the theme we chal- lenged the children in every possi- ble way. There were eight “Minute to Win It” challenges, a “Foods of the Bible” challenge, and the “Stir the Pie” cooking contest was the final challenge. Every opportunity was taken for ministry. Bad behavior, was an opportunity for ministry. Low self -esteem, we stopped to minister. Overly enthusiastic play, was stopped and ministered. Bad housekeeping became ministry also. Sis. Sylvia Riddick was again a most capable coordina- tor in charge. She also had Sis. Nedra Moore (N) and Sis. Lisa Willis (SC) to come in to as- sist. Youth helpers were Bri- anna McClendon and Keanna McClendon (SC). Matthew 19:30 was the theme verse for this event. Others that assisted were Sis- ters Valetta Ross (N), Shirlee Dunbar (E) and Genevieve McInnis (N). It was another exciting Chil- dren’s Convention and we look forward to seeing each other again next year.
