Issues requiring Immediate Attention

• Slow progress of Critical Gap Fund (CGF) expenditure on ground

•Needs to be Expedited

•Release of Critical Gap Funding (CGF) from Treasury to RD (Rurban) accounts •Release of State Share into Treasury and further into RD (Rurban) accounts

• Regular monitoring of release of funds to ensure convergence

•Special fund has been set up in the State Budget for enablingconvergence in the clusters of Andhra Pradesh

•Saturation based approach for implementation by

Chhattisgarh

• 14 desirable components to be saturated in Rurban clusterswithin the Mission period

• Clusters are prioritised based on extent of gaps in saturation.

• Rurban clusters are NRLM intensive clusters with livelihoodfocus

Key Issues- Recap

Challenge to meet the balance release target of Rs. 640 Crores

– Need to expedite submissions of ICAPs of all phases as per timelines below

– Need to expedite Works on ground through Critical Gap Funding (CGF) and submission of DPRs approved by SLEC with 60% UC
