TAKE NOTICE that David Charles Matenga has made application to the Mäori Land Court at Whanganui for confi rmation of a sale of 703 square metres of the land known as Manawatu Kukutauaki 7D2D 36A block to Her Majesty the Queen (acting through the New Zealand Transport Agency) for the purpose of the Wellington Northern Corridor Expressway.
That sale cannot proceed unless the owner give to the preferred classes of alienees a right of fi rst refusal.
Any member of the preferred class of alienees who wishes to be considered by the owner as a prospective purchaser of the land must give written notice of his or her intention to pursue the right of refusal at the hearing of the application to be held at Levin on Thursday 17 May 2018. That written notice must be fi led in the Mäori Land Court no later than 4pm, Tuesday 24 April 2018.
If no notice is fi led by the date set out above, the Court may confi rm the alienation of the land by way of sale.

Mäori Land Court Quarterly Schedule of Outstanding ApplicationsRule 5.11(1) Mäori Land Court Rules 2011
Under rule 5.11(1) of the Mäori Land Court Rules 2011 the Registrar of each Court in each District must prepare a quarterly schedule of applications on the last day of February, May, August and November listed the applications that were fi led with the Court 6 months or more before the date of the schedule and that have not been fi nally determined. In accordance with rule 5.11(2)(b) of the Mäori Land Court Rules 2011, the next list of outstanding applications is available on the website athttps://maorilandcourt.govt.nz/about-mlc/publications/national-panui/
Note: Rules 3.18 and 5.3(1) of the Mäori Land Court Rules 2011 provide that an application lodged in the offi ce of the Chief Registrar must be notifi ed in the next available pänui and in all pänui following until the application is disposed of or notifi ed for hearing or for inquiry and report.
