A National Register Bulletin series is designed to assist preparers of National Register and National Historic Landmark nominations. Teaching with Historic Places produces classroom-ready lesson plans based on National Register properties and professional development materials; call (202) 354-2238 for information. The Historic American Buildings Survey, Historic American Landscapes Survey, and the Historic American Engineering Record publish standards for historical documentation and occasional books and brochures.
