It is located in old Muscat city. is opposite of al-Alam palace ,which is the Oman political city

National Museum aims

Promote the understanding and appreciation of the various manifestations of Oman’s heritage , cultural and the arts. Covering a period of over 1,000,000 years (archaeology, architecture, ethnography, costume, fine art, calligraphy, literature, music and modern art)

At the current time, we are working the final preparation of the museum .Also we are focusing to be the cultural gate of our country and also ,we try to make a good relationship between our society, organization and other museum and people and share our experiences with others.

The NM working on counteract with different teams from different countries in conservation , research and studies, training Education , designing , development

My daily duties at the NM Project

Curator assistant on register the final selection of objects in the Display List.

Basic conservation on soft-stone objects

Reviewing the collection that been omitted from the gallery along with Curator.

Identify the one are going to Collection gallery and those re going to NM storage.

Register all the object in the computer.

Packing all the object in the boxes.

Assist the curator on her basic visit for any new acquisition

Anoxia treatment of the artifacts
