Visit• When you visit, take pictures!
– You don’t want to mix up colleges– You may be visiting A LOT of colleges
• Talk to current students to get the real Inside Scoop after the tour
• Meet an admissions counselor and introduce yourself – Make an impression

– Have several people read it over!• IF ASKING A TEACHER ASK IN ADVANCE!
YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE APPLYING TO COLLEGE!!
– Work on it until it is the best it can be• Be Unique – but not unrealistic
– If you are not funny, do NOT try to be.– Do not be verbose!
