‘Easy in, easy out’ loading

With a compact and logical design, the NationalConvention Centre has a purpose built loading area andextra access doors to assist with easy pack-in and pack-out of your conference equipment.

Facilities

Royal Theatre

The Royal Theatre is the perfect venue for conferencing andentertainment. Standout features include tiered seating and a flatfloor section in front of the large stage, backstage support roomsand an audio-visual control room. Numerous configurations arepossible and the flexibility of this venue including vehicle access tothe flat floor sections makes it a favourite with meeting plannersand delegates alike.

Theatrettes

The Centre features four Theatrettes varying in size that accommodateup to 300 people. They are perfect for breakout rooms, smallerconferences, and seminars. The Theatrettes feature excellent lines ofsight, in built data projectors, screens, and PA systems. The BradmanTheatre has a control room with additional audio visual capabilities.

Ballroom

Our Ballroom is one of Canberra’s best. It features natural light, a4.5m high ceiling and 650m2 of pillar less space. The Ballroom isthe perfect venue for memorable functions, cocktail events andgala dinners. The Ballroom is a flexible space that can also be usedfor exhibitions and conferences.

Exhibition Hall

The Exhibition Hall is a spacious and versatile setting for largescale exhibitions, gala dinners, cocktail parties, awards ceremoniesand is the most adaptable space for special events in Canberra.The 2000m2 Exhibition Hall can hold up to 120 exhibitor booths. The Exhibition Hall has a ceiling height of 9m with a vehicle accessheight of 3.9 metres. Full length windows overlooking Glebe Parkprovide an abundance of natural light. The Exhibition Hall is fullycarpeted and features numerous floor pits to provide power andcommunication capabilities.

Gallery Rooms

The Gallery Rooms present the ideal space for intimate galadinners and events. The five rooms all have natural light withcomfortable seating and are perfect for small-scale eventsincluding meetings and exhibitions. They also provide great spacefor training sessions, workshops and seminars.
