Who is Napoleon ? ★ Napoleon was a military leader for france and later became the Emperor, he got his

armies to conquer Europe from madrid to Moscow during the early 19th century (1729-1821).

★ He rid the person who advocates political independence for a country to supremacy in the First Republic , his coronation was on December 2, 1804 for french.

★ The two decades that he was living he had a lot of successful wars but also sacrificed an army to invade Russia (1812). Two years later he got beaten in a

battle by the armies of Europe. He eventually died in prison in exile.

Events during the French wars have little effect elsewhere in Latin

America, it is partly because spain and portugal play at first relatively

minor roles in the conflict in 1807-8. Napoleon invaded Spain and

Portugal in 1808.

Napoleon impacted Latin America by creating laws such as being guilty until you are proven innocent, pushed nations to invest in strong armies.He helped to start a nationalistic movement to turn the city-state into a nation.
