WHAT EFFECT HAS TAG FEES HAD ON TAG BALANCE OF INTERESTS?ENCOURAGING ACTIVE, EARLY AND SUSTAINED US/TAG PARTICIPATION.
USNC pays its annual IEC dues and operates on a sound financial base
For 2005 some 1000 individuals paid their TAG Participation Fee and an additional 436 paid via their employers each paying $6,000 annually to be USNC Participating Members (30 companies, organizations and government agencies). In 2005 162 individuals did not pay and were dropped from the rosters.
Viable TAG – 3 or more Voting Members including those who have paid requisite fees, Resource Experts and those with approved waivers.
Several TAGs are currently below viability. Others are at the minimum level of viability or just one member above. One TAG has as many as 70 members.
Responsibility of TA and TAG Administrator to grow TAG membership.
