Ryan Guth: A graduate of Westminster Choir College, Ryan Guth studied musiceducation with a principle in classical vocal performance. He was a member of the world-renowned 40-voice Westminster Choir. As a conductor, Ryan, has led various choralensembles at Westminster Choir College and area schools and churches. Ryan currentlyserves at Marlboro Memorial Middle School (MMMS) in Morganville, NJ, where hedirects six choral ensembles and teaches World Music Drumming. In 2007, Ryan formedthe Royal Ringers handbell choir in an effort to provide another opportunity for musicmaking at MMMS. VoiceWorks’ two touring choirs, Impulse Handbell Ensemble and PitchBlack (a vocal jazz/a capella choir) will be touring to Canada in the summer of 2011.

Nancy will perform 2 of her own originalsongs this evening: He Came For Everyone and a new song Nancy wrote for the children, Be the Light ofMy Heart. Nancy has sung onstage with renowned Christian artists, such as, Sandi Patty, Twila Paris,Wayne Watson, Larnelle Harris, and Kathy Trocolli. She has performed nationally, from the stages of NewYork, Carnegie Recital Hall, Lincoln Center, Cami Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Off-Broadway, includingSt. John the Divine, St. Paul’s Chapel, for their renowned Concerts at Noon Series, and Saint Peter’sLutheran Church. She has performed all over the world, with special tours in Israel, South Africa, England,and Europe. In April of 2009, Nancy toured Australia,
In June of 2011, Nancy will give her annual God & Country Concert to benefit The Emmanuel CancerFoundation, with St. Peter’s Brass & Ecumenical Choir, at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Middletown, NJ.
Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education, from Montclair State College, UpperMontclair, NJ, where she studied with faculty members from Julliard, Manhattan School of Music, andMannes College of Music. Her CDs include, Don’t Look Back, Open Heart, Covenant Love, Live at TheChurch on the Square, and CDs & DVDs of her Christmas Concerts here at Count Basie. Nancy continuesto travel worldwide, giving concerts in leading worship services. With mainline churches embracing praise& worship music, Nancy also gives workshops on developing contemporary worship services. She iscurrently Music Director at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Middletown, NJ.
Tonight’s Special Guests:The Ecumenical Choir is made up of singers from various churches in the Monmouth and OceanCounties, as well as singers from the Monmouth Civic Chorus and Shrewsbury Chorale. The Children’sChoir is comprised of children from various churches in our area, brownie troops, and localneighborhoods and schools. We are grateful to King of Kings Lutheran Church, for the use of theirsanctuary for rehearsals.
