Namibia Refugees (Recognition and Control) Act 2 of 1999 (GG 2065) brought into force on 22 September 2000 by GN 234/2000 (GG 2412) ACT To make provision for the recognition and control of refugees in Namibia; to give effect to certain provisions of the United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees of 28 July 1951, the Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees of 31 January 1967 and the Organization of African Unity Convention Governing the Specific Aspects of Refugee Problems in Africa of 10 September 1969; and to provide for matters incidental thereto.
